New Service Lead value feature for workshops

by

Service lead value has been a long-requested feature by our customer, the Danish Volkswagen importer. From now on, workshops can see the monetary value of their service leads. With this, workshop managers can get more transparency over the monetary value of the different services. Additionally, service advisors can organize their workflow better and potentially maximize the workshop’s revenue.

Real-time data — the magic behind it

The feature is based on real-time car data. A lead appears instantly on the workshop tool’s dashboard when a car’s error and alarm code pops up. With the leads, workshops have a steady flow of opportunities to schedule customers and create invoices. The leads value feature now gives a clear overview of how much more invoices can be created.

Service lead value feature – How to enable the feature and edit the pricing?

For now, service checks and oil changes are the 2 types of leads to which prices can be set (many more coming up soon). Prices can be set by the workshop managers. Since these prices vary from workshop to workshop it is only an estimate. Prices then can be seen according to vehicle segment, so service advisors can have more overview and plan their work accordingly. It is also possible to sort the table by revenue and view the total potential revenue — displayed in the tab showing the numbers of all active leads.

Service check and oil change prices are broken down into segments

Service managers can set the pricing just in a few steps:
1. Go to settings and choose a Workshop
2. In the Workshop’s settings the manager can select Leads and can set with the toggles the Potential Revenue per lead-functionality on or off.

3. Edit pricing by simply clicking the blue edit icon and finish it by clicking save.

When the workshop manager first enables the Potential Revenue feature there’s already a default pricing set for the different leads. All users of ConnectedWorkshop can see the set pricing of leads, but only the managers can edit them if needed.

And that’s a wrap! Additionally, this feature will be expanded soon by a lot more service error codes so many more lead types can get monetary value in ConnectedWorkshop.
