The Consumer Electronics Show (CES2023), the world’s largest and most influential technology event, took place in Las Vegas from January 5 to 8. This year, Connected Cars, as a featured partner of Microsoft in the Automotive, Mobility, and Vehicle Technology segment, represented itself. The Connected Cars delegate a team of connectivity experts showcased the Connected Cars Product Suite to hundreds of people.
CES2023 attendance exceeds expectations
In 2023 highlighted technologies were the automotive, IoT, smart home, healthcare, metaverse, XR, AI, and computing areas. People call CES the world’s most prominent tech event for a reason. 3200 exhibitors, including 371 Fortune 500 companies demonstrated the world’s best technological advancements and innovations this year. With over 2.2 million net square feet of exhibit space, the show’s scope was 70% larger than that of CES 2022. More than 40,000 of the projected 115,000 participants came from outside the United States, representing more than 140 different nations.
Microsoft’s booth features companies from key segments of the automotive industry
Microsoft’s CES 2023 theme was “Drive the future of mobility,” demonstrating their commitment to helping the automotive sector influence mobility. The Microsoft stand featured many tech companies in 5 key areas of the automotive, mobility, and transportation sector. The Connected Cars booth was placed in the Mobility section together with other companies offering various mobility services.
Demonstrating the commercial implications of connected vehicle data to hundreds of people
Connected Cars was represented by a four-member team: Mads F. Gregersen, CEO, Martin Nørgaard Høgh, VP of Commercials, Carlos Pasquali, Director of Customer Success, and Priti Gupta, Director of Marketing. The team provided demos and addressed questions for visitors regarding the Connected Cars ProductSuite and the impact of retrofit telematics on dealerships’ profitability, customer retention, and work productivity. During these four days, Microsoft’s General Manager for the Automotive, Mobility, and Transportation Industries, Sanjai Ravi, personally thanked the Connected Cars team for the excellent collaboration that took place between the two companies.

The Connected Cars team showed the scope and effect of these four days through successful interactions and business prospects with several automotive industry players. They produced 181 leads from 22 countries, including 42% senior management, from all major car manufacturers and dealer groups.
